A cost effective milking parlor system is the Midi Line or swing over system.   By using the milk clusters for both sides of the milking pit,  you maximize the use of each cluster.   The  vacuum system  is smaller and cheaper and , therefore,  you need only half the amount  of milking clusters, making it a significant saving asset.   Automatic take off can also be incorporated.  With electronic pulsation, further automation such as automatic take off, milk meter,  and electronic herd management is possible with swing arms.
